    Everview secured a $315 million judgment for a Southern California mining client in a complex and novel mineral rights case. The litigation revolved around what costs and expenses the mine operator could charge to the partial owners of critical patented claims at the heart of the mine.

  • Everview Wins Eviction of Non-Paying Tenant for Commercial Real Estate Client

    Everview obtained an eviction judgment and significant damages against a non-paying tenant for a commercial real estate client. The action cleared the way for our client to re-lease the property after nearly a year of unsuccessful negotiations with the tenant.

    Everview worked with a renewable power client to draft and negotiate design-build and interconnection agreements for a commercial renewable energy project for a major agricultural processing operation. The final design-build agreement included strong liability and warranty provisions in favor of the firm’s client.

  • Everview Defends Mining Client Against Frivolous Eviction Lawsuit

    Everview successfully defended an aggregate mining client against a frivolous unlawful detainer action brought by the mine site’s landowner. Everview assembled a team of the foremost mining and reclamation experts in California, and presented such a powerful defense that the landowner dismissed its case just days before jury trial was set to begin.

  • Everview Defends Development Client Against Multiple CEQA Suits

    Everview attorneys successfully defended a commercial development project against two parallel CEQA lawsuits and attempts to stall the project by preliminary injunction. Wins included denial of a motion for temporary restraining order, denial of motion for preliminary injunction, grant of two demurrers, and a final decision on the merits rejecting all of the petitioners’ claims.

Bradley Johnson, Esq.

Mr. Johnson, the son of a developer, brings decades of unparalleled expertise in land use and natural resources law. His extensive experience spans every project stage—from capitalization and development to due diligence, acquisition, permitting, operation, sales, reclamation, and final disposition.

Before founding Everview, Mr. Johnson distinguished himself as a Super Lawyer Rising Star and a Founding Partner at Harrison, Temblador, Hungerford & Johnson LLP. There, he advised clients in numerous permitting, reclamation, vested rights, and development matters, gaining widespread recognition for his strategic leadership and success in driving collaborative projects.

Mr. Johnson began his career at the Office of Governmental and Environmental Relations with the California Department of Conservation. An honors graduate of the University of California, Davis, he earned his JD cum laude from the University of San Diego School of Law. He is a licensed real estate broker in California and a member of both the California and Texas state bars.

James Anderson, Esq.

Mr. Anderson is a seasoned natural resources attorney who also leads Everview’s safety and employment practice. With a sharp focus on safeguarding client operations, he expertly navigates the complex regulatory landscapes and challenging issues that impact land use and natural resources sectors.

His strategic approach minimizes risk, reduces costs, ensures compliance, and fosters a secure, productive work environment. Clients benefit from customized solutions that address their specific challenges, supported by Mr. Anderson’s proactive communication, exceptional project management, and meticulous attention to detail.

Before joining Everview, Mr. Anderson made significant contributions at Harrison, Temblador, Hungerford & Johnson, and began his career with the California State Water Resources Control Board Office of Enforcement. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and his JD from the University of California, Davis, King Hall School of Law.
